Meet Our Team

Site Manager

Charles Freeburgh

Charlie joined Skyfall as General Manager in August 2024. A Chemical Engineering graduate from LSU, he spent 38 years in petrochemical manufacturing and later held leadership roles at Baton Rouge Community College and Louisiana Economic Development. He serves on industry advisory boards, enjoys time with his wife Monette and their two sons, and avidly supports all things LSU.

Senior Process Engineer

Doug Griffin

Doug joined Skyfall as a Senior Process Engineer in August 2022, managing the pilot plant’s design, operation, and commercial facility development. He has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from LSU and over 40 years of industrial experience, including several plant startups. In his free time, Doug enjoys family activities and following LSU sports.

Plant Services Manager

Mark Cloutier

Mark Cloutier joined Skyfall as the Maintenance Leader in February 2023. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University and is a former registered Professional Engineer in Georgia. Recently ordained as a Deacon of the Catholic Church, Mark serves at Our Lady of Mercy in Baton Rouge and participates in jail ministry at the East Baton Rouge jail.

Lead Innovation Chemist

Michael Vincent, Ph.D.

Michael joined Skyfall as a Site Chemist in July 2022, where he outfitted the laboratory and developed sample analysis protocols. In 2023, he became Lead Innovation Chemist, collaborating with LSU on new product development. Michael holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from LSU and previously worked in startup ventures. Outside of work, he enjoys playing tennis and traveling.

EHS Leader

Mandie Boudreaux

Mandie joined Skyfall in June 2024 as the Environmental, Health, and Safety Leader. With 20 years of experience in chemical manufacturing, she also teaches chemistry at Brazosport College. Mandie holds a Master’s in Healthcare Administration and is pursuing an MBA. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, the outdoors, and reading.

Financial Controller

Jane Decoteau

Jane joined Skyfall as Financial Controller in February 2023. With 30 years of experience, she specializes in construction accounting, financial reporting, and corporate tax. Jane holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting from Southeastern Louisiana University. In her free time, she enjoys weekends at her camp, fishing, biking, and attending LSU sports.

Supply Chain Manager

Alexis Goodman

Alexis joined Skyfall in August 2022 as the Supply Chain and Quality Systems Leader, managing logistics, inventory, vendor contracts, purchasing, and quality. She holds a B.S. in Sustainable Supply Chain Management from Louisiana Tech and previously worked as an Area Buyer at Georgia-Pacific. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and hiking with her husband and dog.

Maintenance Lead

Paul Mathews

Paul joined Skyfall as Maintenance Lead in July 2024, bringing over 10 years of maintenance and engineering experience from the steel industry. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Biology from LSU with a minor in English. In his free time, Paul enjoys LSU sports, relaxing at his family’s fishing camp in Barataria, and spoiling his daughter.

Process Operator

Richard Lay

Ricky Lay joined Skyfall in September 2024 with over 37 years of experience in the chemical industry. He has expertise in batch processes, chemical storage management, and process troubleshooting. Ricky also has a background in Hazmat response, with training in emergency management and incident command. He enjoys fishing, restoring Mustangs, and traveling with his wife Deborah. They have three children and four grandchildren, with a fifth on the way.
